The writing along the border in Hebrew block letters consists of blessings for the bride and groom taken from the Book of Psalms and the Book of Ruth. Above the text is an image of two joined hearts surrounded by a circle which contains sayings relating to love and marriage taken from the biblical Songs of Songs and other sources.
