On vellum

The text is written in Italian block letters and is framed by a floral decoration that is typical for ketubot of this period from Ancona. The wreath above the text and the bow on the bottom also follow the conventions of Ancona ketubah illustration. The text within the wreath contains traditional blessings for the bride and groom.
